Sarkari Yojna
There
are three types of ration cards divided on the basis of family financial
status. APL ration cards are issued to families above the poverty line who have
lower annual family income. The color of the APL card is blue. BPL ration cards
are for families coming below the poverty line.
The annual family income of the applicant
for the BPL card should be less than
Rs. 10,000 / - per annum. The BPL card
is colored red. Antyodaya Anna Yojana
(AAY) ration cards are for the poorest
people. AAY Ration Cards are yellow.
Annapurna Ration Cards are issued to
old age pensioners of the state.
Most of the people have to cut the
wheels of government offices to get
ration cards, for this they have wasted
a lot of time. But now the citizens of

government office nor to make rounds
of gram panchayat etc. to get a ration
